At Lantern Light Camps, your child will enjoy a week full of games, crafts, exploration, fresh air, new friendships, and so much more! Our enthusiastic and caring staff are dedicated to ensuring your camper returns home happy and tired each day. Choose to enroll for one to five days of fun at our Vacation Camp.

  • Please pack a nutritious lunch for your child each day.
  • Sibling Discount: Save $10 per day for each additional sibling.
  • Flexible Schedule: Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available for an additional fee.

Daily Schedule
Here’s what a typical day looks like at Vacation Camp:

  • 8:30 – 9:00: Drop-Off
  • 9:00: Announcements
  • 9:15: Block A
  • 10:30: Snack Time
  • 10:45: Block B
  • 12:00: Lunch
  • 12:45: Quiet/Story Time
  • 1:45: Block C
  • 2:45: Snack Time
  • 3:00: Block D
  • 4:15: Rec Time
  • 4:30: Pick-Up

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Details

  • Drop-off takes place at the Camp Northwood Dining Hall between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, where campers can enjoy supervised activities before the daily welcome meeting at 9:00 AM.
  • Early drop-off begins at 7:30 AM for an additional fee.
  • Pick-up is at 4:30 PM from the Camp Northwood Dining Hall.
  • Late pick-up is available until 5:30 PM for an extra fee (not available on Fridays).
  • Please note: anyone picking up a camper must present a photo ID that matches the approved pick-up list.

Registration & Preparation

  • Registration: Campers are enrolled on a rolling basis as space allows, so apply early! If your application is waitlisted, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to review and confirm availability.
  • Health Forms: Required health forms are accessible in your CampMinder account and will remain valid for summer camp.

What to Bring
Prepare your camper for a day of outdoor fun! Be sure they are dressed for the weather in comfortable, durable clothing that can get dirty. Essentials include:

  • Water bottle
  • Lip balm (optional)
  • Journal, pen, or book (optional)
  • Raincoat and boots for wet weather
  • Hard-soled shoes (sneakers)
  • A warm layer

What NOT to Bring
Help us create a safe and distraction-free environment. Please leave these items at home:

  • Electronic devices (games, iPods, cell phones)
  • Candy
  • Money
