Brief Bio
Ryan Ouellette is the Chief Program Officer at Merit America, a national nonprofit focused on building a pathway to upwardly mobile careers for millions of Americans stuck in low wage work. With a passion for expanding access to opportunities through education, Ryan has 15+ years of public service and leadership experience. Ranging from leading workforce certificates at Dallas College, teaching nonprofit leaders in Iraq, volunteering at City Year, and designing training programs for individuals from 100+ countries, Ryan has seen the impact of education at every level. What brought Ryan to Lantern Light Camps was his prior experience as a camp counselor for at-risk youth; to this day, it remains the most fun and rewarding job he ever had! Ryan holds a BS in Finance and an MPA/MA in Nonprofit Management and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
